Master of Public Health (MPH)

Celia is a first-year student in the MPH program at the College of Public Health studying in the Department of Health Promotion & Behavior. She also serves as a graduate teaching assistant in the Department. She is a graduate of Georgia Tech, where she studied Applied Languages & Intercultural Studies. She also graduated from Tech’s selective Honors Program and served as Captain of the Institute’s Equestrian Team. Broadly speaking, her research interests pertain to examining healthcare outcomes for underserved populations (particularly Hispanics) in rural communities. She hopes to pursue a career in public health and primary care medicine and has accumulated thousands of hours of hands-on work & volunteer experience in healthcare settings. Outside of academia, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her extended family abroad.
