The symposium, which kicks off at 2 p.m. will feature engaging presentations and a Q and A session. Presentations will cover topics related to: Housing, Harm Reduction, SNAP Utilization, & Healthcare Access. Light refreshments will be served.
Parking is available at the HSC Visitor Lot located on Foster Rd, Athens, GA 30606. Street parking is also available across the street from the campus on Prince Avenue. Please contact, Program Manager Rebecca Baskam ([email protected]) with questions.
The Athens Wellbeing Project, now in it’s third iteration, features data from Athens-Clarke County households. These data are the first insight into post-pandemic life in our community, and provide deep insight into the opportunities and challenges for improving wellbeing in Athens. Graduate student teams from the department of Health Policy and Management will present their findings in a white paper format that will highlight findings from the data in addition to policy recommendations and community context.
