EHSC 8030 Seminar Series – Yiran Wu
12:40 PM - 1:30 PM
Miller Plant Science Building, Room 1501

Yiran Wu is a PhD student in the Department of Environmental Health Science, working under the guidance of Dr. Wentao Li.

Yiran holds an MS in Genomics and Bioinformatics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a BS in Biotechnology Engineering from South China University of Technology, China.

In Dr. Li’s lab, Yiran focuses on bioinformatics research related to DNA damage and repair. Her work includes designing computational pipelines, developing specialized software, and conducting comprehensive data analyses. Currently, her projects center on exploring DNA damage and repair within the context of the 3D genome structure. She leverages advanced analytical techniques to study 3D genome models of various cell lines, including GM12878 and HeLa, providing critical insights into the spatial organization and functional dynamics of genome integrity.
