Sallie Zehna Starrett is the CEO and Executive Director of Brightpaths, the Athens council of Prevent Child Abuse America. Sallie has a BS in Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia and over a decade of experience working in the non-profit sector, with an emphasis on child welfare and family preservation. She is an Athens native, mom of 2, and she and her husband are Clarke County foster parents who focus on the reunification of families. Sallie believes that all children deserve a safe and healthy childhood, and that all adults have a part to play in making that happen.
