Speaker Bio: Emily Kendall, MD, PhD, is an associate professor of medicine and epidemiology in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Kendall’s research combines clinical field studies with mechanistic and computational modeling, with the goal of better understanding tuberculosis disease dynamics and identifying effective strategies for reducing the global burden of tuberculosis. She is also a practicing infectious diseases physician.
