The UGA Institute for Disaster Management and UGA Office of Emergency Preparedness will be hosting a talk on Wednesday, September 13 with special guest Charles Guddemi, the District of Columbia’s Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency’s (HSEMA) Statewide Interoperability Coordinator. Mr. Guddemi joined HSEMA after his 25-year career with the United States Park Police. He will be speaking about “Lessons Learned in Crisis Communication” based on past events. The event will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in Room S306, South PJ Auditorium at the UGA Instructional Plaza. Light refreshments will be provided.
