Annaliesse Reyes

Master of Health Administration (MHA)

Annaliesse Reyes is a second-year graduate student in the College of Public Health pursuing a Master of Health Administration. Annaliesse graduated with her undergraduate degree from UGA with a B.S.H.P in Health Promotion and Behavior in Summer 2022. Until June 2023, she worked as a rural health research consultant at the Rural Studies Institute at Georgia College and State University addressing health disparities and food insecurity in middle Georgia. As a graduate student, Annaliesse completed an internship with MedLink Georgia and an operational coordinator. Her research on type 2 diabetic and pre-diabetic patients created a useable action plan for MedLink senior executives to implement to address diabetic education program retention. With a growing passion for rural health and community health, Annaliesse hopes to become an executive director, leading the way for implementing public health programs to address health disparities and chronic disease within Southern rural communities.
