Ashley Okosun

Undergraduate & Double Dawg Ambassador

Undergraduate Ambassador, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health (BSEH), Master of Public Health (MPH)

Hi! My name is Ashley Okosun, and I am from Stockbridge, GA! I am a third-year Environmental Health major with a minor in Women’s Studies. I am also pursuing an MPH with a concentration in Epidemiology through the Double Dawgs program. I initially planned on becoming a gynecologist when I entered college, but after an internship the summer following my freshman year, I knew public health was what I wanted to pursue. I was interested in connecting with marginalized communities and learning how certain environmental factors in their life overall shaped their sexual/reproductive health and well-being. One day, I hope to become an Epidemiologist focusing on the spread of sexually transmitted infections to minorities within intracity communities. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
