Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental Science
I am a PhD student in Dr. Lipp and Dr. Leach’s lab in the EHS department. I am interested in environmental chemistry, microbiology, and the interaction between aquatic microbial communities and anthrophgenic chemical pollutants. I revieved an my undergraduate degree from the Odum School of Ecology here at UGA, with a concentration in freshwater ecology. Afterwards, I spent two years as an assistant project manager for and environmental engineering/consulting firm called Vertex. I was involved in the remediation process for primarily petroleum spills and mold contamination in the urban environment.
