Master of Health Administration (MHA)

Throughout my academic journey, I have cultivated skills in healthcare management, data analysis, and effective communication. These skills and my dedication to learning and adapting to new environments. I have also gained comprehensive knowledge in health policy, healthcare accounting and finance, and health informatics. These courses have equipped me with the skills necessary to navigate healthcare administration’s dynamic and complex landscape. Moreover, academically, my coursework has provided me with a solid foundation in healthcare management principles and the intricacies of healthcare policy. However, it is my extracurricular involvement and professional experiences that have honed my interpersonal and leadership skills. During my first- year I managed to be involved in various organizations such as The University of Georgia’s Master of Health Administration Service Committee and the American College of Healthcare Executives UGA chapter. As a second- year student, I am serving on the MHA Executive Board as the Marketing Chairman and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement Secretary. As a leader in various student organizations, I have developed the ability to collaborate with diverse teams, manage projects efficiently, and communicate effectively which I believe is a skill set crucial for navigating the complex landscape of healthcare administration. These experiences have also instilled in me a deep appreciation for the importance of adaptability and resilience, traits essential in an industry that constantly evolves to meet new challenges.
