Kaylee Laurich

Undergraduate Ambassador

Undergraduate Ambassador, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health (BSEH)

My name is Kaylee Laurich and I am a third-year Environmental Health student from Dacula, GA. I currently have three minors in Spanish, Disaster Management, and Global Health. When I first came to UGA, I was certain I wanted to do the Double Dawgs program for Epidemiology, but over time I realized that I want to do more work in a natural setting such as the National Parks or in climate change research. I knew environmental health was perfect for me because I grew up camping in many places around the US and developing a deep love for nature. It wasn’t until some of my recent classes that I understood the full depth of my major and how important it is not only for the environment’s health, but the well-being of humans also. I continue to fall in love with the topics and the Public Health professors at UGA do a wonderful job of furthering my knowledge. They set a wonderful environment open for growth and I can’t wait to do the same for you!
