College of Public Health Research Day
Please save the date for the UGA College of Public Health’s inaugural Research Day on Friday, February 9th, at The Classic Center. This event brings together research faculty and students from across Public Health to share findings, innovations, and collaborate on current and future projects.
Each department will present a symposium talk from a faculty member selected by the department and three-minute lightening talks by departmental faculty members, trainees, or students. The day will also include a keynote address by Adam Woods, Ph.D., who serves as the Associate Dean for Research at the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions.

Call for Abstracts: All UGA Public Health faculty, staff and students are invited to participate by presenting a poster or 3-minute lightening talk. All abstracts are due by Friday, January 19.
Submission Instructions: We are asking that faculty, staff, and students submit abstracts to a designated department or institute representative. Each submission should include:
- Faculty/Staff/Student name
- Position/Degree program
- Abstract or Talk title
- Presentation type; i.e. Symposium Talk, Lightening Talk or Poster
- Abstract (350-word max.)
