Reporting by North Carolina Health News on state funding allocated for crisis pregnancy centers references CPC Map, launched and maintained by Andrea Swartzendruber and Danielle Lambert, both faculty members in the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics.

Doctoral student Yang Ge and and EPIBIO associate professor Ye Shen’s recent JAMA Internal Medicine study on the dynamics of COVID-19 transmission by the severity of illness was covered by Forbes, WABE 90.1 (twice), Flagpole Magazine, among others.

Ye Shen’s study of COVID-19 airborne transmission on a bus, which published last fall also in JAMA Internal Medicine, supported reporting by Georgia Health News and Kaiser Health News on COVID risk for school bus drivers.
