Whether you live in Georgia or on the other side of the world, we offer several ways for you to get involved with the College of Public Health. We value our alumni and friends who share of their time, talent, and treasure to improve the success of our students.

Participate in an Alumni Event

The College of Public Health invites our alumni to return for a visit and engage with us through events held throughout the year, such as the State of Public’s Health Conference held each Fall. Contact us at [email protected] for a tour of the College’s home on the UGA Health Sciences Campus or learn more about upcoming alumni events.

Be a Guest Lecturer

There are often opportunities at CPH to speak in our classrooms and share your career and life experience as a CPH alum. If you’re interested in meeting with our students to provide them with your guidance, please contact [email protected].

Mentor a Student

Helping the next generation win is an amazing feeling. Find an opening on your calendar and change the life of a student. But with today’s busy schedules, it can be hard to know where to start.

The UGA Mentor Program, housed in the UGA Career Center, serves both students and alumni. Each participant commits to only one to two hours per month for a 16-week match. The program website hosts a messaging platform that protects participants’ personal information, and once a mentorship relationship is established, students and mentors can directly communicate with each other.
