CPH T-Shirt Design Competition. All CPH Dawgs – students, faculty, staff, and alumni – are invited to submit a design to the College's very first T-shirt design competition. Eight design finalists will go head-to-head in a voting bracket in March. The winning design will be printed on shirts given to new UGA Public Health admits. Submissions due Friday, February 10. THE GOAL

To develop a design for a custom CPH T-shirt given to newly admitted College of Public Health undergraduate and graduate students beginning in Fall 2023 to show their UGA Public Health pride.

THE WORDING

UGA CPH’s official tagline is “Pursue Understanding. Take Action.” The Association of Schools & Programs of Public Health uses a “This is Public Health” tagline for student campaigns. Take inspiration from these and other taglines. Be creative and have fun!

THE SELECTION PROCESS

A committee of CPH students will select up to 8 design finalists to enter into a March Madness-style voting bracket that will be hosted on Instagram (@publichealthuga). The winner will be announced in April 2023.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • Entries must be submitted in JPEG or PDF format.
  • Entries can be submitted by individuals or groups.
  • Limit one entry per person or group.
  • All members of the CPH community – faculty, staff, students, & alumni – are eligible.

The design and wording can be up to 12 inches. Use only one color, ideally black or white. The design will appear on a colored T-shirt. As you work on your design, please be aware of UGA’s trademark guidelines, https://brand.uga.edu/trademarks-and-licensing/.

Here are some additional guidelines:

  • Don’t recreate the logo, or create an alternate logo
  • Do not use any official UGA Athletics imagery, including the Super G & Bulldog
  • Submitted imagery should not be copyrighted or free to use.
  • Imagery of individuals should be avoided.
