We are proud to announce our winner of our inaugural 2023 CPH T-Shirt Design Competition, health promotion major Elise Lodde! Her design – “This is Public Health Collage” – will be featured on the custom T-shirt given to newly admitted College of Public Health undergraduate and graduate students beginning in Fall 2023 to show the UGA Public Health pride.

About the Contest
THE GOAL
To develop a design for a custom CPH T-shirt given to newly admitted College of Public Health undergraduate and graduate students beginning in Fall 2023 to show their UGA Public Health pride.
THE WORDING
UGA CPH’s official tagline is “Pursue Understanding. Take Action.” The Association of Schools & Programs of Public Health uses a “This is Public Health” tagline for student campaigns. Take inspiration from these and other taglines. Be creative and have fun!
THE SELECTION PROCESS
A committee of CPH students will select up to 8 design finalists to enter into a March Madness-style voting bracket that will be hosted on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram (@publichealthuga). The winner will be announced in April 2023.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Entries must be submitted in JPEG, PNG or PDF format. (Send us a photo of your sketch!)
- Entries can be submitted by individuals or groups.
- Limit one entry per person or group.
- All members of the CPH community – faculty, staff, students, & alumni – are eligible.
The design and wording can be up to 12 inches. Use only one color, ideally black or white. The design will appear on a colored T-shirt. As you work on your design, please be aware of UGA’s trademark guidelines, https://brand.uga.edu/trademarks-and-licensing/.
